Activated carbon filtration is perfect for improving taste and removes chlorine and odours. Reverse osmosis is generally best for removing a broad range of contaminants. And last but not least, sediment filters are ideal for removing larger particles like sand, dirt, and rust.

Finally, you’ll need to choose a water filter system that fits your household’s usage. Consider the system’s capacity and whether it can provide for your total household. You should also factor in the total cost, including purchase, installation, and maintenance.
