Bin the artificial air fresheners
Essential oils can be used in many ways to make your home smell wonderful. The easiest way to create a room diffuser is to add a few drops of your favourite scent to cotton wool and place it in a jar, there are hundreds of ideas online, and they will save you a fortune too!
Open the windows – let the outside in!
May sound simple but recirculating the air is very important!
Get rid of that limescale!
Softened water leaves bathrooms and kitchens clean and shiny, reducing the need for cleaning products such as Calgon and Viakal. Soft water starts to remove existing limescale not only on your taps but also cleans inside your pipework, and you won’t have to de-scale the kettle!
Take your shoes off
Shoes bring in contaminants from the outside leave the germs at the door instead of spreading them around the house.
Get green fingered
Use potted plants inside to purify the air within the home.
