When installing your reverse osmosis system at home, it is typically placed under the kitchen sink. A local Kinetico expert will install your system efficiently and take you through how to use it.
Before installation, a member of the Kinetico team will visit your home to assess your plumbing and ensure a smooth installation on the day. The installation process is usually quick, though it can vary depending on the complexity of your plumbing.

We recommend routine maintenance and sanitisation of your Kinetico K5 Pure+ mineral water filter to ensure it continues to operate at optimum performance.
The lifespan of each filter cartridge varies depending on household water usage. For an average family of four, cartridges typically last around 9–12 months. The pre-filter, taste & odour cartridge, and any auxiliary cartridges should be replaced annually, or sooner if the filter timer indicates.
Before carrying out any maintenance on your filter system, ensure your hands are clean. For complete peace of mind, we recommend having a Kinetico service engineer carry out professional filter changes and sanitisation.
If you choose to replace the filters yourself, please follow the instructions in the K5 Pure+ user manual. Always wash your hands before handling new filters and avoid touching any internal parts. After installation, flush the system by running a full tank of water through the tap, and carefully check for any leaks.
