We recommended that your Premier Ultra is sanitised every 12 months by a Kinetico approved engineer. This will ensure the best performance for your home’s drinking water filter system, helping to provide high-quality drinking water for years to come.

No, the Kinetico Premier Ultra has been designed not to affect the flow of water in your home, as the system uses your existing household water pressure to filter the drinking water.

However, other factors in your plumbing system may cause a pressure drop.

Every Kinetico kitchen water filter system is built to last, and each cartridge of the Premier Ultra lasts for 6,000 litres or 12 months, whichever comes first.

Replacing your Premier Ultra water filter cartridge annually helps prevent the build-up of impurities over time.

You can use your drinking water filter tap immediately after installation. Once the system is connected and flushed, filtered water is available straight away.

You can change the filter on your Premier Ultra water filter with the following steps:

• Close the inlet water valve and open the tap to relieve pressure.
• Make sure the drinking water filter tap and system are off.
• Rotate the filter cartridge 90° counter-clockwise and pull the cartridge to remove it.
• Place the new cartridge in with the handle horizontal and turn it clockwise 90° to lock it in place.
• Turn the system back on but keep the tap closed for the system to finish autoflushing (self-cleaning).
• When complete, run the water for around 5 minutes before use.
